Selling Out - Amber Lin Loose Id through NetGalley provided me with a copy of this book for my honest review.

I read this book back in March and months later I still can't write a good review for it not because the book wasn't good but because I don't know how I feel about it. Shelly is supposedly this jaded call girl trying to clean up her life but when she tries to get a normal job, it goes south fast. Disheartened she goes back to what she knows, ends up at a party takes a girl out of a bad situation and the end up on the run after being framed for murder. There was so much heart ache in this book, Shelly was trained to be what she is, but she does all these things to protect and save other women. Luke I have mixed feelings about I didn't hate him, I also didn't like him. I felt the same way about Phillip, he wasn't a bad guy he is one of those gray area guys. The storyline was different and I wanted to stop reading a few times, but this book had a strangle hold on me. This is my first Amber Lin book, it is a gut wrenching, make you flinch, cry and hope type of book. I will be reading more from her, but I will have to make sure to have plenty of rainbow fluffy feel good books to read right afterwards.
