Things Are Going to Slide - Rangeley Wallace This book was part of a blog tour I received a copy for my honest reviewMarilee is pregnant with her second child, her husband left her for another man, she lost her dream job to her first love and has to find a way to publish or perish. This was a well written realistic book that deals with real life problems. The second chance romance was complicated and interesting, Marilee was a single working mother and I think the author did a great job showing how hard it is to juggle a job and being a mother. I had a hard time getting into the book, it seemed to start off a little bit slow and I was kinda confused at the beginning as to what was going on. I didn't know anything about American Law, the bar system or what a legal clinic was, so to understand what was happening I had to put the book down and do some research. Some of the wording and phrases used were a little bit of a barrier. This book was well written and the plot was good, but because of the slow beginning the research I had to do and the language barrier I gave it a two star rating.
