Exiled (Immortal Essence, #1) - RaShelle Workman Review from busymomsbookreviews.comBefore reading my review remember it is my opinion and only my opinion. I am sure the author worked very hard on this book and I know that other people may not share the same thoughts that I have.Where to begin, this book was beyond horrible. I read the summary and it was so ridiculous I figured it had to be either really good or really bad. It was really bad, the character were underdeveloped and obnoxious. The girl was selfish and stuck up while the boy was a complete jerk. He was cruel and sleazy; I didn’t believe that he had any softer emotions. The only redeeming quality in this book was the world building; I could see the world that the author was trying to make. The characters were flat and unbelievable and the romance was forced. The only convincing part of the entire book was the setting.
