Stop Me - Brenda Novak Review from busymomsbookreviews.com Stop me is the second book in the Last Stand Series and it is my favorite one so far. Once again Novak takes a woman who has had a horrible experience and turns her into a strong woman who tries to help others. Jasmine looses her sister at a young age and when she finds out that she has a chance of finding out the truth she goes down to New Orleans and meets Romain. They don't instantaneously like each other and have a lot of conflict in the beginning. I really liked that Jasmine was a touch psychic. Romain was an interesting guy and I could feel myself empathizing with him throughout most of the book. There was a lot of mystery and the book had me constantly questioning what really happened. The imagery in this book was very vivid and I wouldn’t recommend reading it if you have problems with that. I thought it added to the book and made it that much better.
