Order of the Dimensions - Irene Helenowski I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.I was really excited to read this book; the synopsis presented an original book, with action and adventure. I think my expectations were too high with this book because I was really disappointed. I couldn’t connect with the two main characters, Jane didn’t have any emotional depth and Anton was a cliché villain. People are not evil 24/7 and because Anton was he seemed inhuman. The repetitive actions of the characters in the different dimensions had me putting the book down multiple times in frustration because I wanted something new to happen. My biggest problem was I was told everything, I was never shown. This made it really hard for me to connect to the characters and get into the story. The world building was done really well and you can tell that the author put a lot of thought into the different aspects of this book and did her science research. So even though I didn’t enjoy it the originality and world building did redeem it and bump it from a one start to a two star.
