Lonely Souls (The Witch Avenue, #1) - Karice Bolton This book was part of a blog tour, I received a copy for my honest review.Triss is only a few weeks away from her 18th birthday, her mother has disappeared and she refuses to believe that her mother is dead. Her coven is not happy with her, bad things keep showing up and her friendship with Logan starts turning into something more. I liked Triss she was smart, sweet and mature beyond her years. Logan was the perfect balance to Triss; he calms her and knows just what to say. This book was a great start to the series; I did not feel bombarded with information which can sometimes happen with the first book in the series. I liked the innocence of the relationship between Logan and Triss, their feelings were not based on looks, but on a deeper connection between the two. I did want to see more of the storyline; the book seemed to focus more on the romance than the story. This was a really good young adult paranormal book, it's not too heavy and there is a solid foundation for the rest of the series. I want to see where Karice is going to go with it, I like her writing style and I can't wait to read the next book.
