Review from busymomsbookreviews.comRowan Smith is a retired FBI agent turned author whose life is turned upside down when a killer starts copying her books. Michael Flynn is hired to keep Rowan safe and they become attracted to each other. People continue dying and the killer is getting closer to Rowan as secrets of hers and Michaels past start to come out. I really enjoyed this book; the heroine was a good strong lead with emotional scars that made her strong and resilient. The hero was flawed and relatable. The supporting characters added some humor and conflict along with providing background on the main characters. The story was not drawn out or repetitive, the characters learned from their mistakes and tried to move on. The plot was interesting and all the twists and turns kept me interested. The secrets that are revealed about Rowan and her family made my angry and sympathetic. The writing was smooth and I only noticed a few spelling and grammar errors. Overall it was a really good read, it kept me up all night.
