The Space Between (The Book of Phoenix, #1)

The Space Between (The Book of Phoenix, #1) - Kristie Cook This book was part of a blog tour I received a copy for my honest reviewLeni and Jeric met in Italy and had an instant connection, the two of them have to go their separate ways. They end up finding each other again in Georgia, they have these weird clues that they have to figure out. This was one of those books that's well written, has a good plot line and great characters but I just could not get into it. The plot line was interesting, the idea of reincarnation and soul mates was great. The characters were well developed, I liked Leni and her quite determination. Jeric was the bad boy player who needed a good woman. The glimpses into the past we got added a new dimension to the story and had me respecting the author even more. This book had everything going for it, I just couldn't get into it, I don't know why. Maybe it was just the mood I was in when I read it or something, but I felt like it dragged on for so long and I ended up getting bored.
