Entangled Publishing through NetGalley provided me with a copy of this book for my honest review. Ruby is a born and bred hustler, Troy is a homicide detective who transferred to the NYPD after his partner is killed. Throw the two of them together, you will get one hot alpha male cop trying to protect, dominate and show a woman who's boss while the woman is pushing back and proving she doesn't need a man to protect her but the right man could bring her to her knees. I loved this book, it was a great fast read with a sexy alpha male hero and a tough as nails heroine who gives as good as she got. It is not full of long drawn out drama that could be solved in a conversation or two, it has hot sex and a little bit of action/suspense. It's a really good book and the Kindle price was only 1.99 when I wrote this review, more than worth it.
