NetGalley provided me with a copy of this book for my honest review. The strings that came with accepting the start up money for a private investigative firm with Jazz are starting to tighten around the two of them. The women don't know who they can trust, people are attacking them from everywhere and now Ben has been released from jail. Devil's Due starts where Devil's Bargain ended, the women are trying to figure out what is going on with the agency. This book is from Lucia’s point of view, Ben has been released from jail and Lucia does not trust him, but she wants him. Lucia is a strong silent woman, she is supposed to be a bad ass with all these secrets but she just came across as cold and emotionless. Jazz was again impetuous and wanted to rush head long into every situation. This book was fast paced, had a lot of mystery and new love interest for one of the women. You get to see most of the characters from the first book in this one and a few new ones were added. I didn't really like it; I had a hard time connecting to the characters. The story was an interesting concept mixing science and statistics with psychic visions. There are probably people who will like this book, I just did not.
